#IndividualRightsDay was celebrated yesterday, in honor of John Locke, whose philosophical writings have claimed the rights of every human being including life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, & freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom to petition for the government.

We believe that everyone also has the right to learn new things and develop new skills.

A person's mother tongue shouldn't limit their ability to develop, support themselves, and grow as it shouldn't be a barrier at all. We have to be committed and keep the central, transformative promise of the 2030 Agenda, proposed by the United Nations, for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and respect some Universal Values like Principle Two: Leave No One Behind.

The right to equality and freedom from discrimination is strongly related to the field of languages and is made possible with the help of the translation and localization industry.

We have to focus on making global information accessible to everyone in every language in the world particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We can only achieve this goal with the help of global collaborations with a community of the best translators in the world and by using advanced language translation technologies.

Don't forget to stand up for your rights but also other people's Rights!
